Garden State Highway Products, Inc. (GSHP) is in search for a Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their product knowledge to build the company’s brand, acquire new clients and maintain customer relationships. You should feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment. This is an outside sales position to canvas the New England / Boston / Upstate New York Areas.

Microsoft NAV Admin/Inventory Control Specialist

Job Description:

Our organization is currently seeking to hire a full time Microsoft NAV Admin/Inventory Control Specialist.  This person, working with our in-house NAV Specialist/IT Manager, will use his or her Microsoft NAV knowledge to manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, and report findings to management.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 Inventory
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office products, scanner, & laptop
  • Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
  • Maintain and update computer inventory records
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Implement a loss prevention program
  • Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary
  • Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable products

Part-Time Inventory Clerk Wanted

Job Description: This position is a part-time one starting at 8:00 am and finishing at 1:00 pm. The Inventory Clerk will work directly with our Inventory Manager cultivating and growing our brand. Being organized, professional and self-directed is a must for this position. The responsibilities of the Inventory Clerk include, but are not limited, to the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in stock takes and physical inventory counts throughout the company including research of discrepancies
  • Daily cycle counts, and branch orders as needed
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time on feet
  • Picking and pulling material for production and orders
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and high energy
  • Organized and self-directed is a big plus
  • Previous inventory experience a plus but not necessary
  • Reliable vehicle is an absolute MUST

Responsibilities:

  • Taking quotes and processing orders
  • Learning product and communicating said knowledge
  • Working together as an inside sales’ team
  • Assisting our outside sales team with orders
  • Setting up and attending events inside and outside on occasion
  • Demonstrating product to customers in our showroom when needed
  • Assuming other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

  • Great communication skills –  able to build relationships with our client base and guide them with both product and services’ information

Full Time Forklift Driver Wanted

The Forklift Driver reports to the Shift Supervisor and receives direction from the Warehouse Lead. The Fork will operate equipment with lifting devices such as forklift move move products or materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unloads and receives deliveries of customer product to ensure proper quantities and quality of the product and proper documentation of the receipt.
  • Places product securely in appropriate warehouse locations to ensure that damage or misplacement does not occur.
  • Retrieves and loads customer product as directed on shipping documents to ensure proper quantities and item identification. Retrieves product for shipment based on assigned lot codes or production dates to ensure effective product rotation.
  • Ensures proper food safety and warehouse sanitation practices are followed and that Company and customer assets are adequately protected and maintained.
  • Operates forklifts with various attachments and pallet jacks in compliance with safe operating procedures.
  • Participates in product counting, relocation and assigned inventory processes.
  • Performs warehouse cleaning and equipment maintenance tasks, as assigned.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent warehouse operations.
  • Comply with Safety Programs to ensure protection of employees and property.
  • Ensure that the interface with customers and co-workers is being conducted in a manner that is conducive with operational goals.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and ensure personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions while representing the company.
  • Performs additional tasks as may be assigned.
  • This position requires a varied work schedule and the ability to work overtime.

Work Environment:

  • Fast paced work environment with, in and around industrial machinery.
  • Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time.

Basic Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must be able to read and write load diagrams, shipping orders, work instructions and various business communication documents
  • Must be able to operate electronic equipment, such as RF scanners or radios as assigned

General Laborer Wanted

Position responsibilities may include general housekeeping and manufacturing of signs. Maintain records, complete paperwork and documentation. Entry-level position performs miscellaneous support tasks throughout warehouse and/or manufacturing areas.

This position requires pushing/pulling and lifting/carrying between 20 and 45 lbs. repeatedly throughout a long work shift. In addition, the position requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.

Experience operating a forklift is helpful, but not required.

Primary Job Accountabilities:

  • Perform various physical duties as assigned, including but not limited to sorting, stacking, cleaning and minor repair or maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain all safety standards
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
